Rihanna
Robyn Rihanna, better known as Rihanna in Barbados, is a Barbadian performer and musician who has released popular songs such as Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known performer who has sold over 41 million albums around the world and more than 150 million songs. Born in Barbados, she was able to love reggae and started singing when she was a young child. In the wake of being disturbed by turbulent nature of her household life, as well as her frequent fights with her father, she was absorbed in music. Before long she realized that she was on the right track to be a professional. While still in highschool she was a part of a band group, and was asked to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the ability of this girl. He requested that the teenager move in New York and pursue a singing career full-time. Rihanna was thrilled to accept. Rihanna soon became an international star after her debut release. The singer was popular among the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. It led to her taking up directing. Rihanna is a young and skilled woman that has grown into an icon of fashion and teenager icon. Rihanna makes good use of her fame and supports numerous charity causes.
