LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 - is a pro American basketball star. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He is often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular basketball player. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP award and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the player with the most points in the playoffs with the second-highest number of points in his career and is the seventh player with the most ever assists. Additionally, as an NBA All-Star, James was selected to the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever before, with eight of them in succession from 2011 to 2018. In 2018 James was also chosen to be on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. James has been chosen for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points in rebounds, assists, and points in his career in 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located near his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. As a prep to pro his dream, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick during the NBA draft of 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie of the year 2004 he established himself quickly as one of the most elite athletes in the league, winning the NBA MVP awards for the years 2009 and 2010. James went free agency following his failure to win championships with Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent actions in sports history.
