She continued to charm viewers with leading characters in films such as "Trading Mom," and "Gold Diggers: The Secret to Bear Mountain'. The early years of her career saw her performances in film earned her numerous high-profile award. When she was in her teens, the girl who missed her friends from school during film shoots became disenchanted from the world of showbusiness. It was then that she lost her interest in acting, and instead focused more on studying. Even though she wanted to become a food writer but ended up working as a fact checker in Zagat's guide to eating out. It was a disaster for her position as assistant editor for HarperCollins. Following the advice from her agent, she made the decision to return to acting. The actress took classes to develop her acting skills. In a brief time span, she was offered the part of Liza for 'In The Loop'. Soon afterwards she was able to start appearing for Off Broadway shows. She often wonders what her life might be different if she hadn't taken the time off from acting. She is thankful that she chose to take it.
